A salt inhaler is a unique device. In short, it is a respiratory disease that is used to treat many respiratory diseases. The basics of how it works are simple, the bottom one room has salt crystals, below it, the bottom of the device has openings, and there is a pipe attached to the top chamber.

So, when you breathe above, the air is sucked in from below and the salt is pulled upwards. But don’t worry, you don’t actually inhale the grains of salt because it is very unpleasant and dangerous. You simply breathe in the saline-infused air with the smallest particles of salt. Check out this picture below to prove it.

Salt particles are carried deep inside your lungs to your bronchi and bronchi, which they put into effect and cure different respiratory diseases. You may be surprised at how effective this device is and how the healing benefits of salt inhalation were first discovered.

How to Use Salt Inhaler

  1. Before you get into how to use a salt inhaler, always make sure you store your salt inhaler in a dry, clean place for maximum benefit.
  2. Your salt inhaler will be filled with salt, so there is no need to add extra salt.
  3. For best results, use salt inhalers at least 15-20 minutes a day.
  4. You can do this in one sitting or alternatively you can sit for several days.
  5. To use the inhaler, put your mouth on the tube opening and breathe through the mouth and nose.

Take slow and deep breaths and hold the inhaled salt air for 1-2 seconds before breathing. This deep breathing technique can help you get more out of your inhaler. However, if you cannot manage this, it is better to breathe normally. Over time, your breathing technique and ability will naturally expand and make it easier to use your salt inhaler. Would I be able to utilize fundamental oils with my salt inhaler

Would I be able to utilize fundamental oils with my salt inhaler?

Heliotherapy works best when the salt is too dry, so adding essential oils is not recommended. Essential oils may gradually break the salt, making the inhaler less effective over time.

What other ways can salt be used in treatment?

Two of the most popular ways are hot salt socks for the ears (which makes a lot of sense if you consider the anti-inflammatory properties of the salt) and the nectar pot to remove sinuses.

The Nettie Pot is a little more challenging for my kids, so they use a Nasopur “Naiser Nettie” bottle when they are crowded.
